Behind the Scenes with the Stunning Samantha Harris

Our fashion team recently had the good fortune of shooting the gorgeous (and engaged!) Sam Harris for an upcoming fashion story which will be running in our November issue.

You'll have to run out and grab a copy when our November issue hits stands, but as you know, we love giving you a bit of a sneak peek, so here are some behind the scenes pics from the shoot. Our very own Jessica-Lee Slarp did the styling and we know you're just going to love it.

Bride to Be November issue is on sale on November 7th.

Look at Sam's beautiful hair!

Tools of the trade. Just a small sample of Budi's make-up kit!

Time for the first shot. Sam is wearing a stunning gown by Lisa Gowing.

Just a selection of the jewellery on hand, all of these pieces are from Jan Logan.

Our brilliant photographer, Richard Freeman, gets to work.

This is how it looks from the other side of the lens.

Time to go outside. You can't see it here but, trust us, Sam caused quite the stir in Hyde Park!

Sam takes time out and gets up close and personal with the cutest family of puppies!

Just some of the beautiful flowers for the shoot provided by George at Seed Flora.

Just a touch more hairspray!

A Gorgeous Traditional Wedding Venue

If you grab a copy of our latest issue, you will notice that one of our stunning fashion shoots, Something Borrowed, (page 154) was shot at a gorgeous traditional, sandstone church.

This church was just so divine, we had to share it with you all. Hunters Hill Congregational Church is nestled in one of Sydney's historic suburbs. This traditional sandstone church is warm and inviting and so are the people who run it. They will treat you more as friends than clients and guide you through the preparation process, tailoring details to meet your individual needs.

Below are some pics of the church as well as a sneak peek at the fashion story inside our latest issue.

Isn't it just gorgeous!

Get in touch with the church here.

All photos courtesy of Nick Scott.

For the rest of this story and lots more fabulous planning inspiration, grab a copy of our latest issue.

Behind the scenes on our latest shoot!

We've been busy here in the Bride to Be office. Our fashion girls have just returned from their latest shoot and very kindly (considering how much they had to do) found the time to take some behind the scenes snaps for us.

Below is just a sneak peek into their shoot - the final shots will be unveiled in an upcoming issue.

Enjoy!

The prep work begins! Hair and make-up artist Elsa Morgan gets to work.

Even the boys need a bit of work (but not much!)

Photographer extraordinaire Jason Ierace, works his magic.
