Bride to Be Top Shots: Society Photography

It's been a little while since we've posted  Bride to Be Top Shots, so we wanted to make sure we found a great one for you all, and we sure did!

This week our Bride to Be Top Shots are brought to you by Society Photography. We asked David from Society Photography to comment on each of the amazing shots.

Cars often make a great prop for photos but a couple having a genuine laugh plus an old rustic fence make this image for me.

The above image is our Top Shot of the week and below are a selection of our other favourites! We hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we did.

I am always inspired by the wide open spaces of the rural landscape, and this image from Murrurundi in the upper Hunter Valley is no exception. Standing on the roof of my 4wd gave me the height i needed and I love the glow from the setting sun over the hills.

A very fun and relaxed (and large!) bridal party is always rewarding to capture. The beautiful flowing Camilla gowns against the imposing sandstone wall at the Tea Rooms Gunners Barracks makes for a great visual contrast too.

There's nothing more inspiring than a couple willing to go the extra mile for great photos. This image did indeed mean walking that extra mile! But they were excited and knew it was worth it for the opportunity to create this image. The location is stunning in itself but the perfect amount of cloud cover which still allowed the sun to come through and the strong wind blowing made it even better.

It's great when you have a bride's house with nice natural light like this. I love how relaxed she looks and the bright high key look with lots of space in the composition.

Bride to Be Top Shots: Infinity Photography

"This photo has so much right with it - you can just feel the love between the newlyweds. This wedding was particularly Infinity; natural, well-styled and in a beautiful wheat field south of Sweden. We live for capturing little moments like these."

This week our Bride to Be Top Shots are brought to you by Infinity Photography. As usual, we asked Infinity to comment on each shot.

The image above is our pick for Top Shot. Don't you just love how is perfectly captures the spirit and happiness of the day. Infinity put it so well, 'you can just feel the love between the newlyweds.'

Here are a few of our other favourites.

"The body language of the couple combined with the back lighting and styling gives this photograph a beautiful, elegant feel to it. We love the intimate and natural moment Infinity Photography has captured in one of our favourite secret locations close to the Sydney CBD."

"We believe this to be such a powerful and striking image, it’s dramatic but at the same time manages to be soft and whimsical."

"We absolutely adore this image, while it’s such a strong shot it still retains an air of innocence and tranquility. The bride is extremely well-styled and natural staying true to Infinity Photography’s candid style."

Bride to Be Top Shots: Inlighten Photography

This week's Top Shot is brought to you by Inlighten Photography.

"We get asked all the time 'what if it rains on our wedding day?' Well, you get incredible shots like this! I love the way the street light over head is refracting the light in the rain, and perfectly lighting up the couple below. I also love the way the deck is glistening below them."

As you all know, we're continuing to bring you the best in wedding photography with our Bride to Be Top Shots. Above is our Top Shot for this week by Inlighten Photography. You have to love how they've turned a rainy day into a gorgeous moment for the couple.

Below are another two recent shots from Inlighten that we wanted to share with you. And as always, we've asked Inlighten to comment on each photo to give us an insight.

Enjoy!

"Photographing a wedding is not just about taking beautiful photos. It's also about telling the story of the day. I love the way the little flower girsl are about to peak into the room to watch the bride and bridesmaids getting ready. The brides home is such an exciting and anticipation filled part of the day. It's lovely to capture that essence in a photo."

"The father and daughter dance is an enormously important part of the night for a dad. I love that this photo captures the emotion and importance of this moment in such a candid way, that it doesn't intrude on the moment and allowed them to enjoy it."

Bride to Be Top Shots: SugarLove Pictures

This week's Top Shot is brought to you by SugarLove Pictures.

'We love how this was shot in the front yard of a friend of our photographers at Clareville and that it was candidly captured whilst the cane chair was spinning. Such a cute moment for the couple.'

As promised, we are continuing to bring you the best in wedding photography with our Bride to Be Top Shots! We hope these little showcases inspire you when planning your own special day.

This week our Top Shot (above) is from SugarLove Pictures, who we have featured over the years with their stunning weddings.

Below are some more gorgeous pics from recent weddings shot by SugarLove Pictures and a little note on each from SugarLove.

'We put a back lit sunset style on our brochure from another clients wedding in 2006 and ever since not only has the natural elegance of that look become very popular in the past few years but it is one of the most requested looks a client has on their day. This was captured in Noosa under a perfect sunset in 2010.'

'This is a great example of how to capture a gorgeous shot even when the weather does not come out with sunshine on the big day. The wedding took place at Hamilton Island and it rained for most of the photo shoot, we captured an intimate moment overlooking the Whitsundays that holds some great memories for the couple.'

'The girl leaving her preparation in St Albans, Hunter Valley on her way to the ceremony. We feel it looks like a fashion shoot with the timeless styling of her dress, headpiece and vintage bag, however most would be surprised that this was taken in a split second and she styled everything herself.'

'This was shot at the stunning QVB Tea Rooms and the composition is what is so lovely about this image. The couple are engaged in a private moment together however the expanse of the main dining room is evident and they are just drifting off into their own bridal dance amongst the opulence of the space.'
