Cartier has just opened an exhibition entitled Cartier & Aldo Cipullo, New York City in the 70's.
Until May 8th, the exhibition will take place at the Cartier Mansion on Fifth Avenue in NYC and will showcase around 40 jewels from the area along with archival drawings, articles and scrapbooks. A display will also include videos and touch screens where guests can interact with various Cartier images and articles from the 70's.

Did you know that in October 1969, the first diamond to sell for more than $1 million, was a Cartier 69.42 carat, pear shape stone to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. It was that same year that Cartier presented the instantly iconic 1969 Love bracelet, designed by Aldo Cupullo.
Cartier also played a central role in the Jazz Age, bejewelling Mia Farrow for her role in the 1974 film The Great Gatsby.
