Socialite Nicole Richie and musician Joel Madden wed in Beverly Hills, California. Their Versailles-themed nuptials took place at Lionel Richie's estate where an elephant was on hand to greet guests.
Nicole wore a lace Marchesa gown and walked down the aisle to "Ballerina Girl," the song her father wrote for her in 1986. Reverend Run, from Run DMC, officiated the ceremony and the couple chose white hydrangeas to decorate the venue, along with mirrors and antique chandeliers.

Actor Matt Damon wed Luciana Barroso in New York City. The ceremony was private, and Luciana's 7 year old daughter was the only family member in attendance.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, married in Montecito, California.
The notoriously private couple married in secret at the San Ysidro Ranch.
There were no guests in attendance and Gwyneth was pregnant with the couple's first child at the time.
They honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, staying at the Esperanza resort.
